STUDIO GUIDELINES
If you are
interested in a professional career in music, entertainment, modeling, etc., and
are interested in management, we would be happy to discuss this with you. We do
have a standard management contract that will be required and is available for
electronic download for qualified applicants. In order for us to evaluate your
talent and potential marketability, we would need the following:
-
For singers,
songwriters & musicians, we require a demo CD, DVD or tape of your material.
It doesn't have to be a professional recording, but must be adequate for us to
give your work a proper evaluation. A list of your training and/or experience
is also preferred.
-
For dancers,
we would need to see a video of a performance or routine. A list of your
training and/or experience is also preferred.
-
For models,
we would need a comp card or at least some photographs of you, as well as your
measurements and list of experience, if any.
You may send
your materials for consideration to our offices at:
Solfege
Entertainment Group 11294 91st Terrace, Seminole, FL 33772
Attn: Executive Producer Tony Mitri
In the event
you do not have materials listed above and would like a live audition, you can
schedule an initial one (1) hour in-person consultation with Mr. Mitri for
$100.00. During the initial consultation, Mr. Mitri will evaluate your
abilities, discuss with you your strengths and weaknesses, discuss your career
goals and aspirations and give an overview of how we can assist you making those
goals a reality.
9am-9pm Monday thru Friday
10am-6pm Saturday Closed Sunday unless by special
appointment
While we will always do our best to be available
as needed by our clients, we also need to have our time scheduled
constructively, as to allow time to handle other studio functions as well.
Please be respectful of the times indicated unless it is an emergency or
otherwise agreed to in advance.
Appointments are scheduled carefully so we can
accommodate the most people. When you are late or cancel without warning, this
interferes with our ability to stay on schedule or to fill a vacant time slot if
you cancel without notice. All appointments should be made at least 48 hours in
advance and if cancellation is absolutely necessary, must be done with 24 hours
notice.
As has always been the case, we request that each
artist check in at least once per week, either via telephone or email. This is
in your own best interest. We need to maintain a regular line of communication
to ensure that we stay on target, in working towards developing your talent and
enhancing your career. It is not our job to check up on you, rather it is your
responsibility to report in. As management, we need to see how you are
progressing regularly and we need to coordinate with you and keep you informed
of what we are working on as well.
Effective immediately, repeated failures to check
in weekly may result in termination of your management agreement.
Every artist who wishes to work professionally in
this industry is required to have a press kit. You can do little or nothing to
advance your career without it. If you do not have one, we can guide you
establishing one. We have several artist development packages available to
choose from. This press kit should consist of a demo of your talents (including
covers & originals), a professional photograph, a biography and song list. This
press kit is the key ingredient in promoting and developing your professional
image.
Unlike many online services charging $500-1500 to
create a web presence for you, SEG offers this service to our artists starting
at only $25.00 per month. In this day and age, having an online presence is
critical to draw your audience and create a fan base. We offer our artists the
ability to have an electronic presence, that will provide a critical marketing
tool to give them increased exposure. A good online artist website should
include an electronic press kit, with mp3s your fans can download, pictures,
event updates, news, etc.. A guest book can be added to establish a fan base.
This will allow us to keep in touch with the fans to let them know of your
upcoming performances, new CD releases, etc..
We realize that most people are on a fixed budget
and this business does require certain investments on your part to get your
career underway. And, as much as we like helping our clients, we are a
business, not a charity, and must act accordingly whenever possible to ensure
our continued expansion. To help you and to help ourselves, we offer a program
where you can receive a credit for any paid referral you generate. You are each
in the community. You have access to people through your jobs, your schools,
your social circles, your neighborhoods.
Referring customers our way helps you in many
ways as well. We are a small focused company driven mostly by word of mouth.
The more we are able to do this, the more we are able to focus our efforts into
helping you, our clients, rather than spending the majority of our valuable time
on generating that business from outside sources.
Tell a friend and help earn money to pay for your
own career needs!
